This website and database is the final product of Wesleyan Universitys Spring 2014 class COL370 Digital History. Led by Joseph Yannielli of Yale University, undergraduates from diverse academic disciplines collected runaway advertisements from the Connecticut Hartford Courant and uploaded them to a database and website. Website architecture is provided by Omeka. Transcriptions of the runaway ads were done by students in the class. The ads were obtained via the Americas Historical Newspapers databas
